If they are nervous or ready to attack, the tail will be stretched back and forth, like a shape of small hill, seems to say “dare you near to me one time?”
This position symbolizes fear and helpless. Sometimes, this behavior is a way to give on because they can’t win the stronger enemy. In addition, if they enter into a new environment or animal hospital, tail will be clamped in the middle of legs too, so please just relax they down.
